October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!

It's that time of year again, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month!! The time where everyone at NoPayPOKER unites together as one and takes a stand against Breast Cancer. Oct.3rd will be the start date of Kajunspice's 2nd annual BCA League games. This league will run through the month of October.
This month will also signify a major achievement also for Kajunspice. As all of you know in March Kajun started a journey of her own with this disease. She was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. On April 21st she had a bilateral mastectomy and in May started months of extensive aggressive chemo treatments. Those treatments will finally end on Oct. 7th at which time she will ring the Cancer Survivors Bell! To honor this major accomplishment, there will be lots of free games beginning Oct 3rd and running thru Oct 7th.

WTG KAJ brilliant news

Almost six months since we were told the news
Of all the possibilities we're not allowed to choose

We heard about Kaj and the fight in her path
And through her courage she could smile and laugh

Like the true Kajun she couldn't sit and wait
She was the aggressor,it's a strong womans trait

She considered her options and where to begin
And set a date for surgery her strength showing again

It was a success the first step was through
But there's more to come she already knew

She did what she had to one step at a time
Each day as it came she continued her climb

She had her good days and her bad days too
But she's stubborn as hell you know that's true

As she nears the end of the treatments and stress
We've seen a southern girl battle with unwavering finesse

She's raised your awareness and given you a chance
To protect yourself now, to test in advance

You fought with spirit and you gave it hell
Now our Kaj it's time to ring that beautiful bell!
